James May, Arizona

James Charles May, 81, of Tucson, Ariz., died Dec. 22, 1994 at the Eldorado Hospital in Tucson, Ariz. Graveside services are today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Peru Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Cumings of Leon will officiate. Visitation will be after 10a.m. today at Kale Funeral Home in Truro.

He was born May 4, 1913 in Fall River, Mass., to James C. and Katherine May. He married Nola LeNore Youmans on March 12, 1940 in Des Moines. He was a retired history and social studies teacher. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholc Parish. He was also a member of the Retired Officer's Association at David Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Ariz., the 783RD Bomb Squadron Association and the Association of Former O.S.I. Special Agents. He was a retired major for the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Surviving relatives include one son, Michael May and wife Nancy of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Patricia Goad and husband Johnny of Bossier City, La.; one sister, Isabel Michaud of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two step-grandsons.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Disease Association.
