Mabel Millie Beardsley, 95 , of Winterset, died of pneumonia Dec. 15, 1997, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Graveside services are Dec. 18 at the Peru Cemetery. Pastor Jon Gaul will officiate the 10:30 a.m. services.

She was born, in Madison County, on Jan. 20, 1902 to Thee and Clara Beardsley. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Madison County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister.

Surviving relatives include one son, Wilbur J. Beardsley and wife Alice of Des Moines; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
