Death of Irma Allery

Irma Allery died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Greenfield, in Oskaloosa, following an illness with heart trouble. She had been ill and in a hospital, but had been taken back to her grandmother's three weeks previous to her death.

She was twelve years old and was the daughter of Harry Allery, of Colorado. Her father, two sisters, her grandparents, a stepmother and a step-sister mourn her loss. The body was brought here for burial and placed beside her mother, who preceded her in death nine years ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday August 27th, at 2 o'clock at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, the Rev. A. P. Keast officiating.

Obituary - Irma Pauline Allery

Irma Pauline Allery, the daughter of Harry O. And Flossie Greenfield Allery was born October 1, 1917 near Mankato, Minnesota, and died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Greenfield at University Park, August 26, 1929, at the age of 11 years, 10 months and 25 days. She had been ill with heart trouble since April.

She leaves besides her father, her step-mother, two sisters, Lois and Ruth and a half-sister Billie Maxine, and many other relatives.

She had lived in Colorado the past ten years coming to Iowa about a month ago in hopes that the climate would prove beneficial.

The funeral services were held at Ramsey's funeral home Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. A. P. Keast. Burial in the Winterset cemetery.
