Michael Joseph Holtry Sr. of Peru died Sept. 26, 1998, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Community Building in Peru.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo John Holtry Sr., his mother, Mary Hope (Douglas) Holtry and two great-nieces.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of Peru; one son, Michael of Peru; one daughter, Misty of Peru; one sister, Hope (husband Gary) of Ferguson; five brothers, John (wife Mary Ann), Bruce (wife Sharon), Gary (wife Kathy), all of Lorimor, Terry (wife Laura) of Indianola and Alfred (wife Cindy) of New Virginia; 26 nieces and nephews; and 18 great-nieces and nephews.
