Marilyn Cooper, Winterset

Marilyn B. Cooper, 59, of Winterset, died of cardiac arrest Nov. 22, 1995 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were Nov. 27 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Pastor Carl Heuss officiated the services and burial was at the Peru Cemetery.

She was born in Madison County on Dec. 19, 1935 to Roy Merle and Leota B. (Hiskey) Huston. She married Donald L. Cooper on Oct. 29, 1968 in Winterset. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Winterset. She was a member of the Peru United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Surviving relatives include her mother; her husband; two sons, Jerry and David Mitchell, both of Winterset; two daughters, Carolyn O'Leary of Des Moines and Barb Blaylock of Winterset; and seven grandchildren.
