Justin See, Peru

Funeral Services for Justin See, 17, a student at Winterset High School, were held Mon., June 17 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tapiwa N. Mucherera officiating. Justin died June 14 of accidental drowning while swimming with a friend in Madison County.

He was born September 24, 1973 in Ft. Madison to Alan W. and Vicky L. (Roach) See. He attended Cedar Falls elementary schools and was active in Cub Scouts and sports while there. He moved to Madison County with his family from Waterloo in November, 1985. He attended Winterset Junior and Senior High Schools and was a member of the Winterset wrestling team, Peru United Methodist Church, and the Scottish Farm Feeders 4-H Club.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Denise; and grandparents, Wendell and Wilma See and William F. Roach.

Surviving are his parents; a grandmother, Florence Roach of Leavenworth, Kan.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Burial was in the Peru Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Winterset Husky Mat Club.
