Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Goodman McNeley, 63, were held Mon. Nov. 30 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Bill Branson officiating. Mrs. McNeley died November 26, 1992, at Des Moines General Hospital. Burial was at Peru Cemetery.

She was born in Madison County December 27, 1928, to William and Marguerite (Davis) Post. She married Lee R. McNeley September 12, 1960, in Chillicothe, Mo. She lived most of her life in Madison County and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; one brother and one sister.

She is survived by her husband; a son, William Goodman of Council Bluffs; three daughters, Opal Whitlock of Des Moines, Sheri Baker and Rose Bass, both of Adel; four brothers, William Post of St. Joseph, Mo., Franlin Post of Cumberland, Carl (Terry) Post of Aledo, Ill, and George Post of Harlan; and six grandchildren.
