Funeral services for Loyd Curtis Dudney, 91, were held Mon., Dec. 31 at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Dan Waite of Winterset officiating. Dudney died December 27 at his home.
He was born July 3, 1899 in Madison County to Oliver and Della (Foreman) Dudney. He married A. Bernice Seward February 17, 1917 in Winterset. Dudney farmed all his life in Madison County and was a school bus driver at Truro and Winterset for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Vera Towne of Des Moines and Nola Robbins and husband Max, of Buhl, Idaho; a son, Lyle Dudney and wife, Helen of Lorimor, 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Peru Cemetery.
