Funeral services for Grace Irene Rogers, 88, will be held Thurs., Jan. 24 in Longmont, Colo at the Howell Mortuary Chapel with interment of ashes in Peru Cemetery. Rogers died January 21 at Longmont United Hospital.
Born January 1, 1903 in Madison County to Charles Hope and Maude Keiffer. Grace was a life-long resident of the Winterset area before moving to Colorado in 1989. While in Winterset, she attended the Winterset First United Methodist Church, worked as a nursing assistant at the Madison County Memorial Hospital and was a volunteer at area nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Rogers.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Huffman of Longmont; a brother, Eldon Hope of St Charles; a sister, Violet Egan of Prole; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
