SHIRLEY KIRK

Shirley Jean Kirk, 59, of New Virginia died of cancer Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Clarke County.

Mrs. Kirk was born in Winterset. She was a homemaker and a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Lorimor.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; a daughter, Terry Garner of New Virginia; her father, Keith Algreen of Winterset; two brothers, Dick Algreen of Albia and Bob Algreen of Panola, Texas; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Cemetery Fund.
