Death of Mrs. Eva Akers

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Eva Akers, a former resident of Winterset, at her home in Redwood City, California. She died following a paralytic stroke, which she suffered a week ago. Mrs. Akers was 61 years of age, and was the widow of the late Prof. C. E. Akers, a former superintendent of the Winterset schools. Mrs. Akers had been living in Des Moines the past year at the Iowa Bible Training school, and left August 28th to return to her home in California. Burial was in a Redwood City cemetery.
