John F. McDonald died Sunday at the family home, 1429 13th St., Des Moines. Just a year ago he suffered from a stroke of paralysis from which he never recovered. He is survived by the mother, one sister, Mrs. B. A. McGinnis of this county, and two brothers, Findley and Duncan McDonald. The remains were taken to Monticello, Iowa, the former home and burial was made on Tueseay.
