Florence Lindsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Lindsey, was born near Lilly, Tazewell county, Ill., on Dec. 14, 1878. When a young girl she united with the Church of Christ at Lilly, Ill., which faith she kept until the end.

On April 29, 1903 she was married to Oscar H. Williams, who with her mother, three brothers: Frank Lindsey of Macon, Mo.; Edwin Lindsey of Bingham Lake, Minn.; and Ivan J. Lindsey of Mackinaw, Ill; three sisters: Mrs. Elmer Cook of Sumner, Mo.; Mrs. Earl Hasty of Jefferson, Iowa and Mae Lindsey of Mackinaw, Ill.; along with a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn her departure.

She fell peacefully asleep, March 23d at her home in Winterset, aged 44 years, 3 months and 8 days.

Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ Saturday afternoon. Rev. LeRoy C. Cooley officiating. Interment was in Rock City cemetery.

Death of Mrs. O.H. Williams

Mrs. Oscar H. Williams died this morning at her home on East Court avenue, after two years of ill health from a nerve trouble. For the past ten days, her condition had been critical. Mrs. Williams had lived in Lincoln township before moving to Winterset. She was greatly love by her friends who mourn her death. No funeral arrangements have been completed yet.
