Ella C. Callison, 80, of Winterset, died Oct. 17, 1994 at the Community Care Center in Winterset. A funeral mass will be held Oct. 21, 1994 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset with Father Frank Palmer officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be Oct. 20, 4 - 9 p.m. a the St. Joseph Parish Hall. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. followed by a scripture service at 7 p.m.

She was born Dec. 10, 1913 in Winterset to Harlan Curtis and Anna L. (Kirsch) Husted. She married Herbert W. Callison in Winterset on June 26, 1933. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Winterset. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Cozy Club, AVA Club, St. Joseph Altar Rosary Society, and the Antique Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father; husband; one brother; and one sister.

Surviving relatives include one son, James C. Callison of Fayetteville, N.C.; two daughters, Frances E. Stevens of Winterset, and Karen D. Mueller of St. Ansgar; two sisters, Ruth Lyons of Apple Valley, Minn., and Elaine Kondes of Des Moines. 11 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
