JAMES A. BINNS

James A. Binns, son of Shaw and Emmaline Binns, was born in Webster Township, Madison County, Iowa, January 2, 1881 and passed away November 11, 1963 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 9 days, after having been in failing health for several years.

On December 17, 1903, he was united in marriage to Mary McDonald of Winterset. To this union five children were born: Mrs. Carl Busch (Opal) of Casey, Curtis of Adel, Mrs. George Wilkie (Maxine) of Menlo, Wayne of Platation Isle, Florida, and Mrs. Clifford Peters (Lois) of Perry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two grandchildren.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mary; his five children; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; also, three brothers, Chas. and Ray of Winterset and John of Greeley, Colorado; and one sister, Eloise Hart of Truro, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

He was affiliated with the Methodist church.
