Frank E. Lewis, 74, of the 3500 block of Maple Street, West Des Moines, died of a respiratory ailment Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at West Des Moines United Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis was born in Warren County, a son of Thomas and Doris Taylor Lewis. He was a 1945 graduate of Winterset High School in Madison County. He had lived in West Des Moines most of his life. He was an insurance executive before retiring. He was a Navy veteran of World War 11.

He is survived by his wife, Irma; a daughter, Sue of Crystal Lake, Ill. a son, Greg of Johnston, and a grandchild.
