Wednesday, January 6, 1982Alberta Lewis Bruns of Adair, a former Winterset resident, died Jan. 5, 1982, at the Atlantic Hospital in Atlantic.
Born April 19, 1930, she was the daughter of Thomas and Doris Taylor Lewis. In April of 1952 she married Joseph Ray Bruns in Winterset. Mrs. Bruns graduated from Winterset High School and farmed with her husband until 1961 when they moved to Adair.
Survivors include her mother, Doris Lewis of Booneville; two sons, Michael of Waterloo and Tim of Atlantic; a daughter, Michelle of Adair; a brother Frank Lewis of Des Moines and one grandson.
Note: Burial at McDonald - Chase Cemetery.
