FRANCIS MARION BEBOUT

Frank (Francis) Marion Bebout was born February 18, 1875 at Lovilia, Iowa and departed his life on September 6, 1962, at the age of 87 years, 6 months 19 days.

On October 20, 1895, he was united in marriage to Theodoshie McDonald of Lucas Co., Iowa. to this union were born eleven children, two of whom preceded him in death; a son lloyd and a daughter Daisy. The nine surviving children are three sons: Clarence of Dexter, Glen and Raymond of Tuson, Arizona; six daughters: Cleo Christianson and Genevieve McDonald of Long Beach, California, Nora Greenhill of Goshen, Indiana, Fannie Clemenieh of Minot, North Dakota, Cleta Madison of Hamden, Connecticut, and Clara Edwards of Tucson, Arizona. Also he leaves 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Services were held at the Methodist church in Earlham under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Rev. Cree officated.

Pianist was Mrs. Mervyn McLennan with special song selctions sung by Mervyn McLennan.

Six grandchildren served as pall bearers: Francis Bebout, Ivan Gilmore, Bill Davis, Anthony Labozetta, Harold Waddell and Leo Forsythe.

Interment was in the Winterset Cemetery.
