Elizabeth Irene Peacock, 67, of West Des Moines, died May 30, 1994 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were June 2, 1994 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born June 10, 1926 to John and Edna Mae (Conn) Dorrell and married Merlin 'LaVerne' Peacock on July 27, 1946 in Manhattan, Kansas. She was retired after 35 years at Norwest Bank as the head of the Savings Bond Department. She was a 1945 graduate of Winterset High School and lived in Winterset until 1949. She was a charter member of the Entheos Chapter of American Business Women's Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother. Surviving relatives include her husband; and one sister.
