Martin McDole, 82 years old, died Friday, May 4th, after several years of ill health. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin McDole, and came to Iowa, with his parents, from Madison county, Indiana, when he was three years old. One brother, Nathan McDole, and several nieces and nephews survive him.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 5th, at 2:30 from the Church of Christ, the Rev. F. Clare McCallon officiating. Interment in the Rock City cemetery.

The death of Martin McDole long time resident of the county, occurred last Friday. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 by the Rev. F. Clare McCallon and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
Mr. McDole was nearly eighty-four years old, born in Indiana and coming to Polk county with his parents when three years old. He moved to Winterset in 1867 and had made his home here continuously since that time. A brother Nathan McDole survives.

Martin McDole, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad McDole, was born June 13, 1846 in Madison county, Indiana, and came to Polk county with his parents when he was three years old. In 1867 he moved to Winterset where he had since made his home. Death came May 4, 1928 at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 21 days.
He joined the Church of Christ when a boy and was a true christian and well liked by all who knew him.
Two brothers and three sisters have preceded him in death. He leaves a brother, Nathan McDole and several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was never married and had made his home with his sister, Maggie Macumber.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 by the Rev. F. Clare McCallon and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
