Earlham Funeral for George Shaw

Funeral services for George Shaw were held at the Methodist church in Earlham Sunday, July 26 with the pastor, Rev. Wm. Pfantz in charge. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

Mr. Shaw was born Aug. 23, 1905, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Shaw, and died suddenly at his home in Earlham from a heart attack, July 22.

He was married in 1928 to Fern Merical of Earlham who survives him. He is also survived by a son, Don, and a grandson, Todd Shaw of Des Moines, a sister, Josephine Golightly and a brother, Paul Shaw.

Mr. and Mrs. Shaw had made their home in Earlham since their marriage. He was employed by the Marquette Cement quarry.
