Butch Murry, Winterset

Donald Meyer "Butch" Murry Jr., 59, of Winterset died Sept. 3, 2005, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

A private memorial service will be held with Pastor Steve Koch officiating. There will be no visitation.

Butch Murry was born Jan. 23, 1946, to Donald M. and Elda Carmen (Daily) Murry of Unionville, Mo., and was a 1964 graduate of Winterset High School. Butch had spent most of his lifetime in this area.

He was retired from the State Highway Comm., where he worked for the road crew. He also had been an auto mechanic and owned Outlaw Graphics in Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Carmen Murry. He is survived by a brother, Steve Murry, and his companion, Laurie Bloss, of Winterset, a nephew, Colin Murry, and a niece, Jill Bloss. He also is survived by a sister, Linda Kuhns of Warren, Ind.; two nieces Yvonne Markley and family and Jennifer Rowland and family; and a newpew, Matt Kuhns and family.

Arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
