Pete Lienemann, 68, died Wed., Dec. 11 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. Funeral services were held Sat., Dec. 14 at Trinity Lutheran Church near Van Meter.

A lifetime Madison County resident, he was born August 24, 1923 to Walter Clifford and Rose Marie Lienemann in Des Moines. He married Wanda Tracy on August 24, 1952. He was a farmer and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Madison County Zoning Board, Jefferson Township Board of Trustees, charter member of the Madison County National Farmers Organization, a salesman for De Kalb Seed Corn Company for 20 years and formerly a DeSoto school board member.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister and three brothers.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Peter Jr. of Raleigh, N. C., Mark of Des Moines and Paul of Waukee; two sisters, Clara Reinholdt of Des Moines and Edna Eaton of Sidney; four brothers, Walter of Minburn, Nile of Macon, Ga., Lawrence of Adel and Elmer of Sidney; and three grandchildren.

Burial was at Fairview Cemetery near DeSoto.
