VETA L. McCLARAN

Sevices for Mrs. Veta L. McClaran, 76, of 5002 S.W. Eighth St., who died Thursday at her home of a heart attack, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dunn's Funeral Home, 5400 S.W. Ninth St., with burial at Earlham.

A native of Dallas County, she had lived in Dexter before moving to Des Moines 49 years ago. She was a member of the Amalgameted Association of Street, Electric Railway and Meter coach Employees of America No. 441-A. She was also a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivers include her husband, Lester; a son, S.V. of La Mirada, Calif., a daugher Mrs. Rosemary Headrick of Gadsden, Ala.; a sister, Mrs. Mae Middleton of Des Moines; a brother Carrall McKibben of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
