Funeral Held for Stanley Bell

William Stanley Bell, 68, of 703 East Court Avenue, Winterset, died Friday, January 5, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 8, at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Toso officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.

Born on January 19, 1910, in Madison County, Mr. Bell was the son of Frank E. and Bertie Ellen Hartsook Bell. On September 28, 1951, he married Mary Driscoll Kellogg at Adel. A lifetime resident of Winterset, Mr. Bell retired as a county truck driver in 1975.

Mr. Bell was a member of the Ord Christian Church and the Winterset Saddle Club and worked with 4-H members horse projects for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. Survivors include his wife, his son Richard Kellogg of Winterset, and five grandchildren.
