Coral L Hulbert Died at Age 77

Services were held last Friday for Mrs. Coral L. Hulbert, who died at Madison Manor South in Winterset on Monday, Decembver 3. She was 77 years of age.

Mrs. Hulbert was born at Peru, Iowa on June 5, 1896, the daughter of William and Arvilla Foster Hiatt. She was married to Paul L. Hulbert at Barney, Iowa on August 16, 1916.

Mrs. Hulbert had lived in Madison County for a total of 30 years. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church at Peru.

Surviving Mrs. Hulbert are nine daughters and two sons: Vern L. Hulbert of San Antonio, Texas; Dale Hulbert of St. Ann, Mo.; Esteline Newell of Des Moines; Mrs. Erma Hoffman of Des Moines; Mrs. Velma Post of Boone, Iowa; Mrs. Inez Malloy of Ankeny, Iowa; Mrs. Joan Peacock of Truro; Mrs. Janice Jacobs of St. Charles; Mrs. Vivian Shaw of Perkinston, Miss.; Mrs. Barbara Purscell of North Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Harriett Bomar of South Shore, Kentucky.

Forty-four grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, also survive as well as one brother, Jess L. Hiatt of Galatin, Mo.

Mrs. Hulbert was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four brothers, and four sisters.
