OBITUARY

Jonathan R. Andrew, son of Joseph and Sarah Curl Andrew, was born in Clinton County, Ohio, February 8, 1856 and passed away, after a lingering illness, at the home of his son Arthur, at Sugar City, Colorado, June 19, 1939, aged 88 years, four months and 12 days.

He was one of eleven children, having had five brothers and five sisters, all of whom, excepting one sister, have preceeded him in death.

On January 25, 1883, he was united in marriage with Olive Morgan, near Casey, Iowa. This loving, faithful companion, who walked with him for over 45 years, departed this life October 12, 1928. To this union were born five children, Melva Maxson of Pasadena, California, Orla G. He leaves to mourn his passing his five children. 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one sister, Isabelle Ballard, of Crescent City, California, besides many other relatives and friends.
