LUCRETIA MAY ALLSUP

Lucretia May Dollison, daugher of Newton and Mary White Dollison, was born March 21, 1884 near Milo, Warren County, Iowa, and spent the last few months of her more than 81 years at the home of her son, Earnest Allsup, south of Stuart, Iowa.

On August 23, 1901, she was united in marriage to Albert Richard Allsup in Milo and to them were born 13 children, ten of whom survive.

She was baptized in the Christian Union Church in Milo on June 20, 1920, and that day became a member of that faith. She lived in Warren County until 1924, when she and her husband and family moved to Dexter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters and one son, three sisters and two brothers.

She leaves to mourn her passing ten children: Mrs. V.W. Cox of Des Moines; Earl Allsup, Earlham; Mrs. Keith Algreen, Earlham; Mrs. Viola Fellows, Long Beach, California; Glen Allsup, Cleborne, Texas; Howard Allsup, Redfield; Mrs. Ward Paullin, Dexter; Mrs. Oliver Smith, Colfax; Earnest Allsup, Stuart; and Kenneth Allsup, Oskaloosa; one sister, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
