Ruby Peed Melull, Glenview, Ill.

Ruby Peed Melull died Friday, May 21, 1982, at her home in Glenview, Illinois, at 59 years of age. Born March 1, 1923, in Madison County, she was the daughter of Roy and Grace (Prall) Peed.She graduated from Winterset High School in the Class of 1940. After attending business college in Chillicothe, Missouri, she moved to Chicago to make her home in 1942.

On July 10, 1948, she was married to Fred Melull of Chicago. She was preceded by her parents in death. Surviving are her son, Paul of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; two daughters, Carla, at home, and Laura Hill of West Chicago; two grandchildren; and her sister, Mrs. Virginia Smith of Sacramento, California. Also her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Acker of Camdenton, Missouri and cousins in Iowa and Missouri; and her husband, Fred Melull of Glenview, Ill..

Mrs. Melull was a member of the Glenview Community Church and Glenview Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Visitation was held Monday at the Scott Funeral Home in Glenview, Illinois.

Services were this morning at 11 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home with burial in the Winterset Cemetery Rev. Byron Ayers officiating.
