Lela Ethel Reigle, 100, died March 31, 1999, at Luther Park Health Center in Des Moines.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 2, at the Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.
Lela Reigle was born Dec. 2, 1898, in Madison County to Wes and Etta (Powell) Myers. She married Lloyd Reigle on June 25,1921. They resided in rural Madison County until 1937, when they moved into Winterset. Lela worked many years for Easter grocery store in Winterset. In 1989, she moved to Luther Park Health Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandaughter.
She is survived by two daughters, LaVaun Perkins (husband Marion) of Des Moines and Fayola McKee (husband Gayle) of Winterset.
