Cleo Williams, 87, of Winterset, died of complications of Parkinson's Disease on June 2, 1997 at Community Care of Winterset. Visitation will be held today from noon to 8 p.m., at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The family will also receive friends today from 7 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 5 at the First Christian Church of Winterset. Pastor Bobby Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Winterset Cemetery.
She was born in Winterset on Aug.19, 1909 to Robert and Bertha(Beem)Clopton. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1926, and on August 21, 1929 she married Earl Williams at Storm Lake. She was a lifetime resident of Madison County and was a homemaker and a farm wife. She had retired as head of the Winterset School Lunch Program. She was a member of the Christian Women's Fellow-
ship and the First Christian Church in Winterset.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son, two brothers, one sister, and one grandson.
Surviving relatives include one son, John Williams and wife Janet of San Francisco, Calif; one daughter, Ardeth Crusan of Winterset;five grandchildren nine great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.
