Ramona F. Aldrich, 59, of 2517 57th St. died of a heart attack Tuesday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Merle Hay Funeral Home, with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Aldrich was born in Stuart and had lived in Des Moines since 1951. She was head baker at Roosevelt High School.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn; two sons, Jeffrey of Earlham and Brian of Altoona; her mother, Etta Thompson of Urbandale; three sisters, Wardene Isenhart and Teri Beaman, both of Des Moines, and Marlene Cummings of Waukee; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
