Irma M. Hart - Rurall Peru

Services for Irma Mae Hart, 62, rural Peru, who died Jan. 20 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Saturday, Jan. 23, at the United Methodist Church in Truro with the Rev. Ann Louise Weisenfluh and the Rev. James Nicholson of Truro officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born Aug. 15, 1925, she was the daughter of Ernest and Nellie Simmerman Burgus. She attended Murray schools and Simpson College. On Dec. 26, 1948, she was married to Lyle Hart at Murray.

Mrs. Hart was a teacher in Madison County and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Truro, the United Methodist Women, the Guild, Oak Run Circle and the Ivy Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She was a 4-H leader and Methodist youth leader.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Marcia Lynn Tilley and husband Daniel of Stillwater, Ok; and Carol Ann Powell and husband Jim of Chandler, Az; sons, Lyle Jr. and wife Bette of Austin, Tx; and Donald of Dallas, Tex; six grandchildren; brothers, Robert Burgus of Urbandale and Kenneth Burgus of Portland,Ore. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gailen.
