Death of W. E. Powell

Dr. E. F. (Edward Foster) Powell and his brother, J. W. (Joseph W.) Powell, received word the first of the week, of the death of their father, W. E. Powell, at San Antonio, Texas, Friday, April 13. Mr. Powell was 87 years of age last June, and had not been in the best of health recently. The body was shipped to Sioux City and funeral services were held at the Methodist church there, Wednesday April 18. Dr. and Mrs. Powell, J. W. Powell, and their aunt, Mrs. C. E. Grats, left Monday morning for Sioux City.
