Death of John K. Nelson

John K. Nelson, of Boise, Idaho, and a brother of Wm. A. Nelson, who resides south of Winterset, died Monday, November 19th, at the age of 61 years. Mr. Nelson was born in Morgan county, Ohio, but lived for nine years on a farm in Union county. For the past thirty-one years he has been an employee of the Union Pacific railroad.

He was married to Miss Edith Smeath, August 8, 1898, and they had one son, Charles. The body of the deceased was brought to Afton, November 27th, and taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Willis Taylor. He is survived by his son, Charles, one sister, Mrs. Taylor, and a brother, Wm. A. Nelson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 28, at Beulah church, conducted by the Rev. Myrtle Wolfe, and interment was made by the side of his parents, in Beulah cemetery.
