Death of Mrs. Hugh Pray

Van Meter, November 5. Special - Mrs. Hugh Pray died quite suddenly Friday, November 2nd, at her home, northeast of town. She was 68 years old and had been apparently in her usual health until the day of her death. She began to feel ill about breakfast time and died about six o'clock that evening. Besides her husband she leaves six daughters, Mrs. Joe Smith of Van Meter; Mrs. Lewis Boston, Mrs. John Woodward, Mrs. Ray Rippey and Mrs. Raymond Boston, all of Waukee, and Miss Florence, at home, and three sons, Tom of Des Moines; Mike at Mason City, and Will, at home. The funeral was held at the Catholic church in Waukee Monday morning at nine o'clock, with the burial in the Waukee cemetery.
