Winterset Madisonian - September 1908

David P. Roy died at his home in Lincoln township Sept. 11th, after an illness of one year, at the age of 52 years, 5 months and 7 days. The funeral was held at the Hooten school house, conducted by Elder F. M. Jordon, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Hooten cemetery.
