Wm. Brinson informs us of the death of his father, Joseph Brinson, who died at his home in Kansas, May 30, 1905. Mr. Brinson was a former and well known resident of Madison County and one of the first settlers, having come here in 1849. He moved to Kansas in 1874 where he has since made his home. He had reached the ripe old age of ninety-three.
