Mosbey Brock was born May 7, 1822 and died March 22nd 1902. He left a wife and nine children, six of whom were present at his death.

He was converted at the early age of 15 years and was always known as a consistent christian.

He served three years of the civil war in Co. G 94th Ill.

He was buried with the honors of the G. A. R. Pitzer Post having charge of the funeral, which was conducted by Revs. Smith and Milner at the Christian church Monday March 24th and interment took place at the Winterset cemetery.
