Services for Earl Norris, Sr. Here Thursday

Funeral services for Earl Norris, Sr., 89, will be held at the Peterson Funeral Home Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with interment in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Norris died Tuesday morning at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center where he had been a resident since 1973.

A native of Madison County, he had lived in Warren County most of his life, and he and his late wife, Lillie, had farmed in the Indianola community.

Survivors include five sons, Earl Norris, Jr. and Carol Norris of Indianola, Gene Norris of Glendale, Ariz., Bob Norris and Dudley Norris of Altoona; four daughters Bernice Wambold of Indianola, Ilo Harlow of West Des Moines, Arlene Killam of Des Moines, and Betty Walker of Dallas, Tex., 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
