Carroll E. Wigton, 83, died Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Community Care Center in Stuart, IA. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Earlham Methodist Church, with burial in the Earlham Cemetery.

Carroll farmed in the Redfield and Earlham area, and worked as a carpenter for many years. He also worked at the Kuhn Funeral Homes until his retirement in 1999. Caroll was a member of the Earlham Methodist Church.

Carroll is survived by wife, Creta Wigton of Earlham; son, Jim (Shirley) Wigton of Stuart; daughter, Charlotte Derrickson of Earlham; daughter, Louise (Mike) of Hopkins, MO; sister, Arlee Foley of Earlham; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
