San Gabriel Woman's Club Leader Dies

Mrs. Beulah F. McBride, president of the San Gabriel Woman's Club, died suddenly at her home, 3225 Lorain Road, San Gabriel. She had been suffering from a heart ailment for some time.

A native of Winterset, Iowa, Mrs. McBride served as a Red Cross nurse overseas during World War I and at one time was a nurse in the Denver public schools. She had been a resident of San Gabriel for the past 10 years and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving Mrs. McBride is her mother, Mrs. Thomas E. Feeley, with whom she made her home, and a sister, Mrs. Glenn F. Nichols, El Paso, Tex.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Turner, Stevens and Turner Mortuary, Alhambra.
