Page 7, Column 5Last Rites Held For Mrs. M. McVay
Funeral services for Mrs. Milliard McVay, a former resident of St. Charles, were held at Carlisle Monday morning, April 27. Burial was made in the Carlisle cemetery.
Mrs. McVay had been making her home with her son, Lester, until recent years when she was in a nursing home in Peoria, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died twenty years ago. One son, Lester, who is superintendent of the freight department of the Rock Island Railway in Chicago survives.
