Word was received here this week of the death of James Arthur McKee, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McKee of Richmond, California, former residents of Macksburg.
The child died at his parents’ home Saturday following a short illness of measles during which pneumonia set in. Funeral services were held in Richmond Monday and burial was made there.
He was born October 7, 1935 and resided in Madison county with his parents until the latter part of February, 1942, when they moved to California. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Janet and Joan and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank McKee of Winterset.
