DRY GROVE.-(PNS)-William A. Forbes, 78, died at 1:30 p. m. Friday at his home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. (standard) Sunday from the residence and at 3 p. m. from the Presbyterian church in Danvers,
He was born March 10, 1864, in Dry Grove township the son of Boyd and Margaret Adams Forbes. He was married March 10. 1891 to Folbie (sic) Birckelbaw at Danvers. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and was an elder in the church for many years.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Earl Nelson, Dexter, Ia.; two sons, Clarence and Russell at home; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hawthorne, Washington, Ia. His wife and one daughter preceded him In death.
