Rev. Nora Comner, for two years a pastor of the Church of God here in Winterset, died Monday afternoon at one o’clock in the Winterset hospital.
Mrs. Comner, the daughter of Henry and Catherine Erb, was born April 30, 1868 in Tama. She was united in marriage to Daniel King, June 26, 1888 who preceded her in death in 1912. She remarried July 28, 1917 to Adam Comner.
She is survived by three sons, Walter King of Davenport; Harry King of Sylacagua, Alabama, and Clyde King of Massachusetts; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Robinson of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Frank Hamlin of Davenport; three brothers, Jim and E. V. Erb of Fort Dodge and Albert Erb of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. Fanny McGuire, Nebraska city, and Mrs. Edith Kirkinger of California, and twenty-five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock in the Tidrick’s funeral home. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
