WHITEFISH - Alice M. Fugle, 85, a resident of Whitefish, died Wednesday at the Colonial Manor at Whitefish.
She was born Oct. 22, 1893 at Winterset, Iowa, daughter of Griffea and Sarah Whitt. She received her early schooling in Winterset, and in 1901 she moved with her parents to Tolley, N. D. in 1929 she moved to Ferdig.
She married Fred E. Fugle Aug. 25, 1931, at Kevin. They continued to live at Ferdig until 1943, when they moved to Trego. In the late 1960s they moved to Whitefish and have lived there since.
She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church and Women of the Moose at Whitefish.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers. Survivors include her husband, Fred, Whitefish; a sister, Sadie Cool, Polson, several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Rosary will be recited in the Austin Chapel Sunday at 8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Charles Catholic Church at Whitefish Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Glacier Memorial Gardens at Kalispell.
