MANHATTAN, July 16 – Ruben William Whitt, Manhattan, died suddenly at the Deaconess hospital in Bozeman Sunday morning after a short illness. He was born at Winterset, Iowa, June 30, 1901, and lived in Montana for many years. He was married in 1948 to Miss Barbara Flick.
Surviving are his widow, three brothers, Sam and Griffith Whitt of Ferdig and Walter of Kevin, and two sisters, Mrs. Delbert Cool of Kevin, and Mrs. Fred Fugle of Trego.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at Shelby Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Shelby cemetery.
