SHELBY, Nov. 12 – Special - Mrs. Sara Whitt, 72, of Ferdig, died at the local hospital this morning following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held in Shelby in the Community church Friday at 2 p. m., With the Rev. A. C. Rostron officiating. Burial will be in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Whitt was born in Indiana and came to Ferdig and homesteaded with her husband in 1909. She had resided there continuously since.
Surviving her are 5 sons, Ruben, Griff, Samuel, Everett Hann Walter, all of the oil fields, and Bert of Velva, N. D.
