Jet Bell died at his home on west Buchanan street April 20 at 8:15 p.m., at the age of 55 years. He was born near Martensdale November 20, 1879.
In 1904 he married to Ella Landermann who preceded him in death. Two children were born to them, Donald of Corning, and Dorothy Frsythe, deceased. He was again married in 1904 to Alma Scott. Four children were born to this union, Eli and John deceased and Kitty and Elmo of Winterset.
He leaves his wife and children, Donald Bell and wife, Corning; Kitty Haynes and husband and Elmo Bell of Winterset; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Helen Bates of Des Moines; and two grandchildren, Arthur Jet Haynes of Winterset; and Plenny Bates of Des Moines; two brothers and a sister survived, George Bell of Perry; Frank Bell of Valley Junction; Mrs. Bessie Peterson of Perry.
